Compliance and A2P
The gate that decides whether an outbound message leaves, what it checks, and what happens when it cannot tell. This is a feature page, not a promise page: what the tooling does, and what it does not.
It fails closed
Before every outbound message the gate checks four things: is there a consent record covering this kind of message, is the channel enabled for this workspace, is the traffic registered where registration is required, and is there balance to pay for it.
When any of those cannot be established, the send is refused. Not queued, not retried optimistically, not sent with a warning in a log nobody reads. An unknown state stops the send, which is the only safe direction when the alternative is messaging someone who did not agree to it.
Accepted is not delivered
A carrier accepting a send says the carrier took the request. It does not say a phone rang. Carriers accept and then silently drop messages, most often when traffic is unregistered, and every layer above the carrier reports success while nothing arrives.
The platform keeps accepted and delivered as separate states and only an inbound delivery receipt moves a message to delivered. Any automation branch that depends on a message having landed reads the delivery state. The full mechanics are in the SMS and A2P disclosure.
Registration, and its state is visible
Registering your brand and campaign with the carriers is supported, and its state is shown in the product rather than discovered from missing replies. Until a registration is approved, sending is limited and the product says so.
Filing it is part of the platform: every plan ships with free A2P registration. See eligibility details.
Consent is evidence, not a checkbox
Every consent record stores what was agreed, when, through what channel, and the wording shown at the time. That is what an complaint is answered with.
What this is not
This is tooling. It is not legal advice, it is not a certification, and it is not a warranty that your messaging meets a legal requirement - whether a given message may lawfully be sent depends on facts the platform does not hold. The Terms say exactly that, in the same words, on purpose: a marketing page that promised more than the contract delivers is the specific failure this site is built not to repeat.
See it on your data
A working session against your own contacts and your own sequences, not a scripted tour.
